  • 2012: PhD in Physical Education, of interdepartmental postgraduate program «Exercise and quality of life» of the Department of Physical Education & Sport Sciences Democritus University of Thrace και University of Thessaly.
    Title of dissertation: «Effects of different programs of exercise on bone functional ability and physical fitness in postmenopausal women».
  • 2002: MSc in “Human Performance and Health” of the field «Exercise and Health», in the interdepartmental postgraduate program of Physical Education and Sport Science, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, University of Thrace and University of Thessaly.
    (Scholarship for high introductory score and high academic achievement scores in the first and second semester of the postgraduate studies.

Research experience:

  • 29/3/2019: Invited speaker at a two-day seminar entitled “The role of teacher in contemporary society” within the framework of the Erasmus+ project “Bringing Europe at School”, organized by the Directorate for Primary Education of Rodopi, Komotini.

Research activities:

  1. Member of the pedagogical team of the 5th primary School of Komotini for the implementation of the European educational program Erasmus+KA2: "Bringing Europe Home at School" (BEHAS) –EC project number 2017-1-1ELO1-KA201-036148 (2017-2019).
  2. Participation in project titled: "Students’ Internship in Democritus University of Thrace - Phase II: Internship of Physical Education Students of Democritus University of Thrace - Improvement of health and fitness of the population". Project Coordinator: Professor Dr. Savvas Tokmakidis. European Union Support Framework of Education (Subprogram 3.4.b). Duration of the project from 09/01/2001 to 31/12/2005.
