The primary goal of Clinical Exercise Physiology & Ergophysiology Division is to study the body’s functions during exercise and the adaptations resulting from systematic training, both in athletes and individuals with cardiovascular diseases or chronic conditions.

It focuses on the ergometric assessment of physical abilities, such as aerobic and anaerobic capacity, flexibility, and body composition, as well as monitoring factors of human performance, energy metabolism, and neuromuscular functions. Additionally, it examines physiological, metabolic, and biochemical parameters, while investigating the effects of various exercise programs on different population groups, such as obese individuals, diabetics, the elderly, or those with osteoporosis, analyzing aspects like lipids, glucose, hormones, and bone density.
