Dear colleagues and partners,

We are gladly announcing Latvian state scholarships for study and research for the academic year 2020/2021 in Latvia. Citizens from 40 countries from Europe, America, Asia and Central Asia are eligible to apply to study or research in Latvian higher education and research institutions. There is a number of higher education programmes available in English as well in Latvian language.

All relevant information is available at the State Education Development Agency`s (VIAA) website: http://viaa.gov.lv/scholarships

Deadline for applications is 1 April 2020. We would like to draw your attantion that applications can be submitted only through the electronic application system (you can find it at http://viaa.gov.lv/scholarships

Information about study programmes available in English you can find at: http://www.studyinlatvia.lv

We kindly ask you to circulate this call to all intrested higher education and research institutions and individuals in your country.
