- 1983: Bachelor Degree in National Academy of Physical Education (ΕΑΣΑ) of Thessaloniki with grade "Excellent" and specialisation in Track and Field Events.
• 1991: Obtaining the equivalent degree of the Department of Physical Education and Sport Science.
• 1995: Dissertation Degree on History of Physical Education from Democritus University of Thrace
• 2006: In the context of my sabbatical studied in the : School of Kinesiology – University of Western Ontario Canada. I followed postgraduate lectures and became researcher at the International Centre for Olympic Studies.

• 2018: Invited speaker at the "International Conference on Olympism: Global Innovation Forum for Humanity and Sustainable Development. From Ancient Olympia to India, Tokyo 2020 & Beyond -Bridges between Education, Culture, Sports and Society” (16-17 February),Chandigarh-India. This conference was held by the University of Tsukuba, Tsukuba International Academy for Sport Studies (TIAS), and Olympism for Humanity Allies. The titles of my lectures were the followings: 1. Foundations and History of Ancient Olympic & Crown Games -Virtues, Context of the Ancient Hellenic Civilization 2. The Ecumenical and universal dimension of Ancient Olympic Games.
• 2018: Invited speaker at the workshop: : "Olympic Education and Applied Olympism" which was held by the University of Tsukuba, Sports Authority of India (SAI) and Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports in Patiala- India (12-13 February). The titles of my lectures were: 1. The ancient Olympic Games, 2. The ecumenical spread of ancient Greek athletics and the Olympic Games during the Hellenistic and Roman Imperial times.
• 2017: Invited speaker at the: "Pediatric Work Physiology XXX Conference" which was held in Katerini (3-8 October). The title of my lecture was: Youth’s physical activity in moderation: Health perspectives of Hellenic antiquity.

• 2006: Invited speaker from the Greek Ministry of Education and the Department of Olympic Education in the context of Educating Physical Education Teachers at the «Programs which promotes equality in society – KALLIPATEIRA» (Thessaloniki 20/11-24/11 2006. Athens, 27/11-01/12/2006. Komotini 4-8/12/2006. Patra, 18-22/12 2006. Chania 11-15/12/2006). My lecture entitled: Racism and xenophobia in modern world and Greek Education. Physical Education as a mean against racism.
• 2001-2002: Lectures in Seminars on “ Olympic Education” which were organized by the Paidagogical Institute of Ministry of Education. These seminars aimed to the preparation of Physical Education teachers who will be responsible for the course of Olympic Education in Primary and Secondary Schools.
